Probation revoked in vandalism case
CAMERON—A 22-year-old Milano man, on probation for a vandalism incident at Yoe High School, had his deferred adjudication probation revoked last week in 20th District Court and was assessed a two-year prison term.
Prosecutor Kerry Spears said Ronnie Karl was also ordered to pay $1,149.72 in restitution. Full Story
Skate park damage results in criminal mischief charge
A 40-year-old Arp resident was arrested Monday after the Rockdale Skate Park foot bridge was damaged in an attempt to drive a vehicle across it.
Jerry Don Branum was charged with criminal mischief ($500 to $1,500) and was released from the Milam County Jail after posting $2,500 bond. Full Story

The final authentic pieces of Old Nashville on the Brazos, a long-forgotten town that was once considered for the capital of the Republic of Texas, were heavily damaged at an unknown time last month at a tiny roadside park on US 79 just west of the Brazos River bridge. Full Story
