Eagles’ game Friday has been cancelled
Huntsville Alpha Omega school officials have notified Milano and cancelled the two teams scheduled game Friday in Milano.
Alpha Omega officials told Milano it was in the middle of a coaching change and did not want to compete until a new coach was hired.

Taylor ducks Tigers, Rudder makes ‘em pay
While it was well chronicled that Taylor ducked Rockdale to play Bryan Rudder Friday in order for them to pick up what they thought would be a slamdunk victory. It backfired.

MILANO—The Eagle football team tallied up 428 yards in total offense in its 2010 season opening win against the Waco Texas Christian Academy Stars Friday night at Pruett Field.

Lady Eagles open some eyes with second place finish at Robinson
Milano sneaks past Snook Tuesday night
Milano’s Lady Eagles volleyball team definitely opened some eyes over the weekend and is now ranked No. 4 in the most recent Texas Girls Coaches Association poll.
The small team, with just eight girls on its roster, was second in the silver bracket of the 32-team Robinson tournament over the weekend, and in between tournament days, beat No. 8 Normangee in a marathon match. Full Story
