Anderson
CAMERON—Graveside services for Robert Wyatt Anderson, 87, of San Antonio were held Saturday at Urban Cemetery near Sharp with Pastor Jim Mann officiating.
Mr. Anderson died Wednesday, June 25, in Houston.
He was born Oct. 3, 1920, in Paris, TN, to William Leonard and Minnie Lea Sinclair Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Marie Heintze Anderson; a daughter and three brothers.
Survivors are two sons, Paul Anderson of Houston and Mark Anderson of San Antonio; a brother, Ralph Anderson of Paris, TN; and two sisters, Betty Jean Borens of Clarksville, TN, and Estelle Griffith of Phoenix City, AL; also, two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.

Mungia
CAMERON—Funeral services for Herbert Mungia, 65, of Cameron will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church with Rev. Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Monica’s Cemetery.
Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mr. Mungia died Saturday, June 28, in a Temple hospital.
He was born Feb. 27, 1943, in Yorktown to Joe and Julia Garza Mungia.
Mr. Mungia was a retired farmer and rancher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nicolasa Mungia.
Survivors are three sons, Savas Oscar Mungia Jr. of Temple, Michael Mungia of Austin and Mark Mungia of Troy; two daughters, Diana Mendoza of Buckholts and Carrie Vanessa Vargas of Carlsbad, CA; two brothers, Felix Mungia and Adam Mungia, both of Hereford; and seven sisters, Sandy Stewart of Amarillo, Linda Hill of Hereford, Julia Salinas of Edinburg, Anita Guilardo of Hereford, Adelf Silva of Memphis, Eva Urias of Amarillo and Josie Cowen of Hereford; also, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rucker
CAMERON—Memorial services for Jane Ellen Rucker, 64, of Cameron will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Cameron with Rev. Ray Bagby, Rev. Don Legge and Rev. Merry Wilburn officiating.
Mrs. Rucker died Sunday, June 29, in a Temple hospital.
She was born Feb. 18, 1944, in Lawrence, MA, to John Arthur and Grace Jackson Spates.
Mrs. Rucker was a homemaker.
Survivors are her husband, Edward “Eddie” Rucker of Cameron; and four daughters, Corrina Coan of Belfair, WA, Deana Polson of Cameron, Ramona Seal of Camden, AR, and Mary Colorigh of Little Rock, AR; also, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrington
MOUNTAIN HOME, AR—A gathering of friends for Edith Johanne Arrington, 96, of Mountain Home, AR, formerly of Rockdale, will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home, AR. Burial will be in Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott.
Mrs. Arrington died Thursday, June 26, at the Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR.
She was born Oct. 1, 1911, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Johannes and Hansine Laursen.
She married Foy William Arrington on June 4, 1943.
Mrs. Arrington was a theater owner and lived in Mountain Home, AR, since November 2005 after moving from Rockdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother and three sisters.
Survivors are a daughter, Kathy Lane of Mountain Home, AR; two grandchildren, Jenny Morgan of Camden, AR, and Joann Lane of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; three great-grandchildren, Garrett Arnold, Simone Sheppard and Mason Morgan.
Memorials may be made to Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library, the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House or the Baxter County Library.

Johnston
ALCOA, TN—James Estel Johnston, 96, of Alcoa, TN, died Monday, June 30, 2008.
 Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at First Baptist Church of Alcoa. A service celebrating Mr. Johnston’s life will follow at 7 p.m. with Freeman Tomlin officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 4, at Clark’s Grove Cemetery.
He was born in Harrogate, TN on Jan. 28, 1912.
Mr. Johnston worked in Alcoa, TN; Wenatchee, WA; and Rockdale as planning-traffic superintendent with Alcoa before retiring with 44 years of service.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Alcoa for many years where he served as deacon, Sunday School teacher, song leader, committee member, and choir member.
While living in the Northwest, Mr. Johnston and his wife, Hazel, partnered with another couple to establish the Southern Baptist Fellowship of Wenatchee Valley Baptist Church in Wenatchee, WA. He possessed a deep love for world missions and for spreading the gospel.
Mr. Johnston enjoyed hunting, fishing, and searching for Indian artifacts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Martha Johnston; three brothers, Roy, Chester, and Elmer; six sisters, Mattie Johnston, Nelle Johnston, Anna Jenkins, Ada Watkins, Helen Willocks, and Evelyn Love; and two sons, Jimmy and Melvin.
Survivors are his wife of 71 years, Hazel; a son, Alan and wife Kathy of Rockdale; two daughters, Kerma Murray of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jane Chambers and husband Richard of Nacogdoches; and nine grandchildren, Jill, Casey, Tina, Kim, Teri, Earl, Julie, Eric and Hunter; also, sixteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of Alcoa, 819 Gilbert St., Alcoa, TN 37701.
