Key
Graveside services for David Norman Key, 37, of Pearland were held Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, at Sharp Cemetery with Rev. Ross Hartsfield officiating.
Mr. Key died Thursday, Aug. 28, in Pearland.
A Pearland resident for the past six years, he was formerly of Austin and was born Oct. 9, 1970 in Orlando, Florida, to Norman Key and Beverly Garner Key.
He married Dana Saly on Dec. 30, 1996, in Conroe.
Mr. Key was an athletic trainer (formerly for Notre Dame University and then Rice University) and was presently attending the University of Houston.
He was a member of New Hope Church in Pearland.
Mr. Key was a 1989 graduate of Westwood High School. He received a degree in kinesiology from the University of Texas-El Paso in 1995 and his master’s degree in sports administration from the University of New Mexico in 1997.
Mr. Key is survived by his wife, Dana Key of Pearland; a son, Harrison Key of Pearland; a daughter, Jordyn Key of Pearland; his parents, Beverly and Norman Key of Austin; and two sisters, Kathy Key of Austin and Suzanne Pagan of Leander.

Angell
CAMERON—Memorial services for Joyce Angell, 71, of Cameron were held Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Cameron with Rev. Gary Maroney officiating.
Mrs. Angell died Thursday, Aug. 28, in a Temple hospital.
She was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Milam County to George Washington and Ester Josephine (Aikman) Wallace.
She married Clifford Angell on Feb. 9, 1958.
Mrs. Angell was a member of First Baptist Church where she worked as church secretary for many years.
She was on Walkers Creek Cemetery Association Board for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Angell of Cameron; two daughters, Janet Angell of Waco, Laura Angell Glasby and husband Kirk of Cameron; two brothers, Clyde Wallace and wife Virginia of Temple, Delma Stone of Mobile, Alabama; a granddaughter, Laci Youree of Cameron; and two great-grandchildren, Brayden Youree and Railyn Youree.
Memorials may be made to Walkers Creek Cemetery Association or First Baptist Church of Cameron Building Fund.

Yates
CAMERON—Funeral services for Mildred Pevehouse Yates, 86, of Cameron were held Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Chris Norton officiating.
Mrs. Yates died Tuesday, Aug. 26, in a Cameron nursing center.
A homemaker, she was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Maysfield to John and Ina (Sapp) Pevehouse.
She married Johnny J. Yates on May 21, 1941.
Mrs. Yates was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Maysfield.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Yates Jr.; three brothers, Jesse, John and Nathan Pevehouse; and a sister, Ruth Heft Mosely.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny J. Yates of Cameron; a son, Bobby Ray Yates and wife Donna of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; three daughters, Ina Jekel of Georgetown, Fay Koenig and husband Bud of Cameron, Dorothy Bastian of Cameron; a daughter-in-law, Jeanette Yates of Maysfield; three brothers, Virgil Pevehouse of Cameron, Charles Roy Pevehouse of Rockdale, Thomas Pevehouse of Taylor; and a sister, Alma Patzke of Lake Jackson; also, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
