Buckholts man arrested after Saturday stabbing

Sheriff's Report   

 A 50-year-old man was taken to Scott & White Hospital, Temple, following a stabbing incident Saturday at the Buckholts SPJST Hall and a 41-year-old Buckholts man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
 Sheriff David Greene said Jose DeJesus Campos was stabbed in the liver during an altercation.
 Israel Gutierrez Hernandez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was released after posting $20,000 bond.
 Greene said four other arrests were made in connection with the investigation.
 Eraclio Campos Jr., 24, of Buckholts, was charged with disorderly conduct, was fined $400 and released.
 Lorenzo Terrazas, 37, of Temple was charged with disorderly conduct and released on $500 bond.
 Bernardo Campos, 47, of Rogers, and Jesus Najera, 35, of Temple were charged with public intoxication, fined $350 each and released.

Sexual assaults
 Deputy Oly Ivy was called to a reported sexual assault Saturday in the Rockdale area and to an attempted sexual assault Sunday in the Milano area.
 No other information was available from the sheriff’s department about the incidents and no arrests have been made.

Balloon
 Deputy Chris White investigated a report of a runaway hot air balloon May 6 in the Thorndale area.
