NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR RECLAMATION PLANT PERMIT & COMMERCIAL SOLID AND LIQUID OIL AND GAS WASTE RECYCLING FACILITY PERMIT
On October 17, 2016, Ri-Nu Environmental Services, Milano, LLC (“Ri-Nu”) filed an application with the Railroad Commission of Texas (“RRC”) for a Reclamation Plant Permit to reclaim oil from nonhazardous oilfield waste materials, particularly oil-based mud. Ri-Nu also filed an application for a Commercial Solid and liquid Oil and Gas Waste Recycling Facility to recycle nonhazardous oilfield waste materials for reuse. The anticipated materials that will be recycled are oil-based drilling mud, water-based drilling mud, and wash water. The anticipated treatment method will be mechanical separation, centrifuge separation, and thermal treatment. There will be no on-site solid waste disposal associated with these applications.
The proposed recycling site is located at 634 County Road 342, 0.5 miles south of Milano, Texas in the John Nicholson Survey, Abstract No. 283, Milam County. The proposed recycling site is located on real property owned by Ri- Nu.
Affected persons may protest these applications. Protests must be in writing and must be received by the 15th day after the last date of publication of this notice. The last date of publication of this notice is expected to be October 27, 2016 which means protests should be received by November 11, 2016.
