Forage clinic slated Friday in Buckholts
On Friday, forage producers will have an opportunity to learn new management techniques for your pastures as well as tips on recovering from the recent droughts. Lexington riding club sets youth rodeo for May 1
LEXINGTON—The Lexington County Texas Stars will host a Homecoming Youth Rodeo on May 1 at the American Legion Memorial Arena. Signup begins at 4 p.m. May 1.
Events include breakaway roping, poles, tiedown roping, goat tying, ribbon roping, barrels, chute dogging. Age groups are: 9 and under, 10-13 and 14-18. Fifty percent payout and buckles to top boy and girl. Full Story
Kingsmen to perform
The Kingsmen will perform on Friday, March 12 at the Milano Civic Center. Proceeds will benefit the Milano senior citizens group. Advance tickets are $18 for family or $10 for adults. At the door, tickets will cost $20 for family or $12 for adults.
Milano schools w ill be out for Spring Break March 15-19. Classes will resume at regular times on Monday, March 22. Full Story
First Christian hosts World Day of Prayer

Gadison completes Warrior Transition Course at Fort Sill
FORT SILL, OKLAHOMA— Army Pfc. Jarrett R. Gadison has completed the Warrior Transition Course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
The course teaches basic skills necessary for integration into the Army for all prior-service servicemembers to fully prepare them for Advanced Individual Training or on to their first assignment. Full Story
