LOOKING BACK

TEN YEARS AGO.... Milam County Republicans were set to help decide a hotly contested state representative race with Lois Kolkhorst of Brenham challenging incumbent Charles Jones of Bryan. The winner would face no Democratic opposition. U. S. Census workers were set to go door-to-door in Rockdale as the 2000 count began.
