Dear editor,
This is exactly why we do what we do for fundraising efforts year in and year out. The outpouring of love, kindness and generosity of the community, family and friends should not surprise us but it has, once again, during our time of need.
We really appreciate everyone coming together for our family and helping the bake sale fundraiser at Brookshire Brother on Saturday and making it a huge success. Items were selling faster than people could bring them out. At one point there were six tables of goodies and some stuff sold before they even got them put out.
For this we want to thank everyone no matter how big or small your part was. Organizing, baking, selling items or donating monetarily. It was huge to us.
