4-H AND FCH NEWS

Christmas Cottage provides you an opportunity to shop for holiday gifts and decorations, get new ideas and enjoy a great lunch.

Mark Nov. 2 on your calendar for the Christmas Cottage and Craft Fair at Bea’s Kitchen on the courthouse square in Cameron.

The admission is free, so stop by and have a look at the different booths. The doors will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Lunch will be available starting at 11:00 a.m.

We will also be having a door prize drawing during the 12-noon to 1 p.m. lunch hour.

Door prizes include gift certificates to our local businesses.

For many years the Extension Education Association Clubs and the Family and Community Health Committee has worked with the Milam County Extension Office to provide this opportunity to look, shop, and eat at the Christmas Cottage and Craft Fair.

Join us on Friday for some Christmas spirit as you enjoy a great lunch and shop for holiday gifts and decorations.

GIFT EXCHANGE— This year will mark the 24th year of the Holiday Gift Idea Exchange conducted by the Milam County 4-H.

Year after year, 4-Hers demonstrate holiday gift, decoration, and food ideas to give you a new idea for the season.

On Nov. 26, the Holiday Gift Idea Exchange will be conducted at Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron from 6 until 8 p.m.

You will see a variety of demonstrations, get handouts with instructions for the projects and enjoy refreshments and door prizes.

Everyone is welcome at the program. Come to the Holiday Gift Idea Exchange on Nov. 26 and get new ideas for the holiday season.
