We are listing a new time for the annual Christmas Cottage and Craft Fair program set for Friday at Bea’s Kitchen in downtown Cameron.
Time is now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Previously it was listed as 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Christmas Cottage provides you an opportunity to shop for holiday gifts and decorations, get new ideas and enjoy a great lunch.
Mark Nov. 8 on your calendar.
The admission is free, so stop by and have a look at the different booths. Doors will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Lunch will be available starting at 11 a.m. We will also have a door prize drawing during the 12-noon lunch hour.
Rockdale Coffee Roasters will be selling coffee outside.
Door prizes include gift certificates to our local businesses.
For many years the Extension Education Association Clubs and the Family and Community Health Committee has worked with the Milam County Extension Rffice to provide this opportunity to look, shop, and eat at the Christmas Cottage and Craft Fair.

GIFT EXCHANGE—
This year will mark the 25th year of the Holiday Gift I dea Exchange conducted by the Milam County 4-H.
Y ear after year, 4-Hers demonstrate holiday gift, decoration, and food ideas to give you a new idea for the season.
On Thursday, Nov. 21, the Holiday Gift I dea Exchange will be conducted at Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron.
Hours are 6 to 8 p.m.
Y ou will see a variety of demonstrations, get handouts with instructions for the projects and enjoy refreshments and door prizes.
Everyone is welcome at the program. Come to the Holiday Gift I dea Exchange on November 21 and get new ideas for the holiday season.
We do ask everyone help by bringing a can food item to donate to the food pantries!
4-H members (grades kindergarten through -12th grade) are encouraged to participate as an individual or with a friend or family member.
They will create a food or craft themed for the Holidays and will demonstrate it to the audience on how to make it.
4-Hers will need to bring the supplies and an item finished for the demonstration along with giving one finished product away as a door prize.
Deadline to submit instructions will be Friday (Nov. 8).
Only electronic instructions will be accepted this year for the Gift Exchange.
