San Gabriel Baptist to host family night
San Gabr iel Bapt ist Church will host a family night of food and entertainment Saturday.
There will be a light supper beginning at 7 p.m., followed by the showing of the recently released movie,“The Reason.” Lou Gossett Jr. is featured in this film that explores the ageold issue of why bad things happen to good people.
There is no admission charge and no offering will be taken. This event is open to all who want wholesome family entertainment.
The film will be shown in the fellowship hall. Attendees are encouraged dress comfortably and to bring their lawn chairs if the traditional folding chairs are too uncomfortable. Kids are welcomed to use quilts or blankets on the floor.
The church is locatedat 263 County Road 421A in the community of San Gabriel, six miles north of Thorndale just off FM 486 North. Tim Cheatham is pastor.
