MILAM 4-H NEWS
Here are some important dates to remember for the 2020 Milam County Junior Livestock Show:
The show will be held March 25-28 in the Youth Exposition Building in Cameron:
• Market broilers, order Dec. 16, 5 to 7 a.m. Youth Expo Bldg.
• Market bunnies will be tattooed Feb. 25, 4 to 6 p.m. (subject to change).
• Market turkeys must be ordered from teacher/agent.
For market hogs, major show tags will be accepted.
BROILER DETAILS—
This is news for ordering Broilers for the 2020 MCJLS.
You will need to go to the YEB in Cameron on Dec. 16. That is the only way to order broilers for the show.
Order in lots of 25. Make checks out to Milam County Junior Livestock Show Association and orders must be paid for by the ordering deadline Dec. 16.
If they are not paid for by Dec. 16, broilers will not be ordered.
Entry nights
• Monday, Feb. 10, Rockdale General Store Meeting Room
• Tuesday, Feb. 11, Thorndale Ag Science Building.
• Monday, Feb. 24, Cameron
All entries must be received by secretary no later than Feb. 24.
After Feb. 24, late entries will be accepted until March 26 for an additional $100 per entry.

There were 18 different participants, ranging from kindergarten to seniors. Thanks to Julie Eason for coordinating this. If you would like an instructional book of all the entries, they are available for free at the Milam County Extension Office.
