Dear editor,
The Kay Theatre Foundation Board would like to recognize the generosity of our friend and former Kay Board member, Joy Graham.
Even after she has gone her thoughtfulness and love of Rockdale and its history continues.
Joy helped the Kay Theatre during the time when funds were being raised to work on the Kay Theater restoration.
She knew what hard work and dedication it took to get that work done. Joy loved the history of Rockdale and how the Kay Theatre fit into that history.
We will remember Joy’s energy, thoughtfulness and that love of history. Joy knew history, loved preserving history and worked on many historic projects throughout the Milam County community.
She knew that after the restoration of the Kay Theatre was completed came the upkeep and care.
