Parade grand marshals say ‘thanks’ for honor
Dear editor,,
A big thank you to the great people of Rockdale.
We were honored and privileged to be chosen as grand marshals for the Christmas parade.
Special thanks to:
• Bobby Pelzel for the truck ride that didn’t work out.
• The Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department for an amazing, and very exciting, ride on the 1931 fire truck.
• To the Chamber of Commerce for selecting us.
• To Denise Brock at the Chamber for helping us figure out how to be grand marshals.
• To Mike Brown for taking pictures.
• To Charlie McGregor for announcing the parade.
• To all the float builders and riders.
• And most especially, to the people of Rockdale and the area for coming out to watch the parade.
