One vote for ‘caring’

about Rockdale water

Dear editor,

This is in response to the letter to the editor in the March 21 edition, saying a water bill doubled while use went down.

First of all, usage is sold based on 1,000 gallon blocks so the reduction you had wouldn’t have an effect.

Far more fundamentally, you asked what effect these rates will have on business.

I recently used the restroom at a local restaurant. The water there was a disgusting shade of brown.

It leads one to ponder, if that is what they have in the restroom, what do they have in the kitchen?

Do you think maintaining this status quo is any better for business?

So, as a matter of fact, I do care that the Budget Inn, and all of our businesses, have discolored water.
