Dear editor
Last week I sat in an audience. Well, not really. I didn’t go anywhere. I was sitting at my desk listening to the audio on my computer.
I listened intently for 51 minutes and 11 seconds, which included a commercial and one minute 11 seconds of music at the end. Where I imagine some punny things may have been discussed.
I actually felt like I was there and found myself wanting to join in some of the conversation during (National Review’s) Jay Nordlinger’s podcast held in The Rockdale Reporter’s office.
It featured Jay and his associate Kevin Williamson. They queried Mike Brown on his 45 years as a reporter and editor at The Reporter.
Mike mentioned two people I knew and admired, Bill Cooke and George Sessions Perry.
I am already aware of Mike’s capabilities as a reporter and editor.
However, I was able to learn something about the man’s character which was good.
Punningly,
Fate Arnwine
