Pray for, support law
enforcement personnel
Dear editor:
I had to write this letter after reading Mike Brown’s column in the Aug. 22 paper.
I want to thank you for writing it. I truly feel you spoke for a lot of us out here who think the same way you do, about respect shown for law enforcement in America.
I have heard it said, and believe it, every law enforcement person in America has a target on their back.
Its true that any time a law enforcement officer zalns up to a vehicle for j ust a simple matter it could be their last day on earth.
A lot of law enforcement problems are caused by politicians zho sa Ëzell letÎs ease the penalties on law breakers and treat them like children who don’t know any eetter.È
We have enough crazy j erks in America who know they can do anything evil they want to, only get a slap on the wrist and are right back out there doing it all over again.
Build barbed wire cities and make them get out in the fields rozin crops hard labor.
Make them sleep in tents This was good enough for our military personnel in World Wars I and II.
I was in a prison ministry for about two years and I have seen how good they have it in prison today. There are gangs and drugs even in prison. Guards’ hands are being tied as prisoners holler about their civil rights. They curse the guards and throw their urine on the guards as they pass by.
And the guards can’t do anything about it.
Do you pray for the law enforcement personnel in Milam County and Texas daily
When you see some law enforcement person, do you thank them for putting their lives on the line for us citizens every day?
They try to protect us all. God bless all of them.
