Thanks for Veteran’s
Day Celebration
Dear editor,
To the Rockdale ISD students, teachers, and entire staff:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for the beautiful and meaningful Veterans’ Day celebration you provided to honor all veterans, those who have served and those who are currently serving, on their special day.
The patriotic songs, the speeches, the band renditions, the recognition of the veterans and their service branches were all so beautiful and sincere. This was all topped off by a delicious lunch provided and served by the lunch staff and students.
You made those veterans in attendance feel so special as they were treated with such courtesy and respect.
Thank you for all you did to make this day special for our great country and those who serve.
