Thanks for coverage of church’s car show

Dear editor,

On behalf of First Presbyterian Church, thank you for the wonderful coverage of our 3rd Annual Fall Festival and Classic Car Show.

It was an important event for us this year because we hoped to raise funds in order to help Pack Pals continue their work helping needy children in the area.

As always, what’s best about Rockdale is the community. It was evident during our festival. The Rockdale Reporter, as well as our generous community, helped us raise over $1,800.00 for Pack Pals.

Thanks again for doing what you do best. You inform us, enlighten us, and more importantly, continue to inspire us to be community.
