Dear Editor,
I wanted to write this to thank the AMR ambulance service and fire department for how they responded to my emergency on Wednesday, Jan 7.
When I called 911 they were at the house in minutes.
The patient’s lips were turning blue and I didn’t know what else to do.
They not only took care of the patient and got him breathing again but let me know what they were doing each step of the way to help calm me down.
Once stable they transported him to St. Joseph in Bryan with me close behind.
There is nothing easy about these situations but the way they paid attention to us both gave me great comfort and made me confident he was in good hands.
Thank you for being so efficient and good at what you do because it certainly made a difficult moment a little easier.
