Dear editor,

The Kay Theater Board would like to thank The Rockdale Reporter and all of our wonderful supporters for their concern and giving to the Kay Theater during the current pandemic and in the past.

Without your support the Kay Theater would not have been restored, had a historic marker and been able to serve the community the way we have.

Editor Mike Brown’s editorial and the article in the paper were wonderful reminders of what the Kay Theater does in the community and what the community has done for the theater.

Thank you all so much for that support.

The Kay has had so many generous donations coming in through the Go-Fund-Me for The Kay Theater Foundation and continues to see donations.

Many patrons of the Kay Theater have mailed or hand-delivered donations. We are hopeful that the Kay Theater will be able to continue to serve Rockdale and our community in the coming weeks, months and years due to your out pouring of generosity.
