Vaccine incentive is wrong to reader
Dear editor,
A couple of weeks ago I read I this paper that our judge and commissioners court had authorized the offer to pay parents and guardians $250 per child as an incentive to have their child vaccinated for COVID.
I ask you, Mr. Young, where are your and these commissioners health care certifications? There are far too many pros and cons concerning this vaccine for our young people. This is pure politics and you should all be ashamed for risking our children for dollars.
Did I take the vaccine? Yes, and so did my husband. It was our choice and we are consenting adults. Some of these children may have underlying health issues. You don’t know, and sometimes a parent doesn’t know until it’s too late.
The vaccine is free anyway. Do people need political coercion? No! There is too much politics in our lives now and, again, you should all be ashamed for stooping so low.
