Dear editor, Rockdale Christian Services would like to extend a heart felt thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for hosting the food drive held Saturday, Sept. 24.
Through their amazing assistance and the generosity of the community, the Food Pantry was blessed with over 2,800 pounds of food, toiletries, and paper products.
The goods collected will make a positive difference in Milam County as it will provide 150 families with food assistance during this difficult time of rising food prices.
We are so grateful for the support of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints and our community, without each and every one of you our food outreach would not be possible.
