Responding to daintily engraved cards of invitation issued by Mrs. E.A. Camp, a large and brilliant assemblage of Rockdale’s music lovers gathered at the Camp home as the hostess presented Miss Olive Henderson of Cameron, in violin recital, assisted by several local musicians in voice and piano. The spacious Camp home was adorned with quantities of blooming roses from the beautiful rose garden, which is a feature of this Rockdale home, the music room opening into the reception suite making this an ideal place for such entertainments. Mrs. Camp, although a business and professional woman, is herself a patron of the fine arts and a musician of ability, being a member of the Matinee Musical Club and a pupil of Prof. Medaker on the violin. Hence it was eminently fitting on this occasion that she should sponsor the beautiful and charming young musician in violin recital.
