Cameron was to host the annual Milam County Interscholastic League academic meet with contests ranging from declamation and debate through spelling and essay.

TEN YEARS AGO....
The installation of sophisticated new pollution-control equipment at Alcoa’s Rockdale Operation was complete with the commissioning phase getting under way.
Twenty-one months after Alcoa sued Luminant over a power contract dispute at Alcoa’s Rockdale Operations, the litigation’s first day in court had been scheduled.
