The Milam County Area Go Texan Fundraiser is Sept. 29 at the KC Hall. I will find out who is performing by next week, so please check back.
Ginno’s’ Italian Restaurant, 1200 W. Cameron (US
79) has now opened a bar and has an all new menu.
Don’t forget the First Friday Coffee at the library on Friday, Oct. 5, at 8:30am. Come check out those that come and visit and enjoy the morning refreshments provided.
Rockdale’s own Fall Music Festival is coming upon us quickly, with all kinds of activities.
Come on out to downtown Rockdale for the pumpkin patch, vendors galore, games for kids and music all day long.
There will be a zombie race, wiener dog race and a chili cook off.
Did I mention it was free? Don’t see that very often. Come join us, activities start early and end late, so bring lawn chairs and stay for awhile.

• Oct. 18—Dr. Steven Gonzales will present a program on the El Camino Real de los Tejas, 6 p.m., city library.
• Oct. 19—Annual genealogy “lock-in,” programs scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. city library.
• Oct. 25—Paranormal researcher Greg Lawson book signing, city library.
