Milano High School celebrates homecoming this week and will crown its homecoming royalty on Friday at the Eagle football game. The 2020 MHS homecoming king and queen will be crowed during halftime ceremonies.
Senior king nominees are Marquise Jones, Abraham Perez, Cordell Spears and Jeremy Reyes. Senior queen nominees are Jaden Carmichael, Malinda Storey, Mollie Ybarra and Faithful Tafao.
Other members of the homecoming court include juniors Jimmy Penick and Jaylee Cain, sophomores Chris Vasquez and Veronica Rosales; and freshmen Greg Storey and Zoe Clore.
4-H FOOD DRIVE— The Milano 4-H Club is participating in the Milam County One Day 4-H service project of a food drive.
Let me know if you have any non-perishable food items and/or canned goods you would like to donate prior to Oct. 10.
Donations that the county 4-H clubs collect will be given to the area food banks that service Milam County.
