Mi l a n o Volu nte e r Fire Department is working on their annual fundraiser. The group is selling tickets for a variety of guns (in the form of Academy gift cards) for $5 each or five for $20. The drawing will be held at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20. Need not be present to win.
Prizes include: two Henry Golden Boy 22 long rifles, two Taurus Public Defenders .45/410, Remington 700, Marlin 336W 30-30, Remington 870 shotgun, Ruger American bolt action 22 long rifle, Smith & Wesson 9mm and a $100 Academy gift card.

CHRISTMAS PARADE—The Milano city council voted to hold its annual Christmas parade. The event is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. The parade will follow its normal route around town, ending at the Milano Civic Center.
However, the annual free community Christmas dinner has been can been canceled due to not being able to social distance properly during the meal.
For the parade, divisions for entries are: floats, bicycles/walking/small animals, vehicles/tractors, small motorized/battery operated (golf carts, four-wheelers, lawn mowers, etc) and horses/wagons.
