Dear editor:
As the summer break is coming to an end, I want to take a moment to express how delighted I’ve been with the city’s partnership with the YMCA to operate the City Pool.
My 7-year-old son and his friends have spent countless hours there this summer, enjoying everything from swim lessons to snorkeling to snacks.
The professionalism and programming extended through the YMCA has been incredible, and I am so very thankful that the City of Rockdale makes this available for our community.
We’re already looking forward to next summer and, perhaps, more partnerships with the YMCA.
