Heavenly Treasures back-to-school sale
A $5 bag day will be held on Friday, Dec. 2.
The store will be open on Nov. 17 during the Tree Lighting at Wolf Park and the Sip and Shop events from 4 to 7 p.m.
Heavenly Treasures will be open Tuesday, Nov. 27, at their regular hours (9 a.m. to 12-noon) but will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, Wednesday through Friday. They will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
Rockdale Alcoa retirees to meet December 8th
The Rockdale Alcoa Retirees will meet on Thursday, Dec. 8.
The meeting will be held at the Thorndale Veteran’s Memorial Hall (formerly known as the VFW Hall). Doors open at 5 p.m. The business meeting begins at 5:45.
All attendees are invited to bring their best desserts for this meeting. We will be collecting canned goods at this meeting for distribution to area food banks.

Keto support group meets Thursdays at 7
A keto support group meets at the First Baptist Church’s south entrance every Thursday at 7 p.m. A newcomers’ session will start at 6:30 p.m.

Rockdale Peace Seekers AA meetings are at Crossroads Bible Church, 811 Burleson St.
The meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
Celebrate Recovery meets Saturdays
