Dear editor, We want to shout a word of appreciation from Peace Lutheran Church regarding the recent Community Holy Week noon gatherings. Thank you to all the participating churches for helping to make each day enjoyable and unique. We could not have done it without the help of all who brought the delicious food and helped out. In addition, the music and message each day were a very enjoyable way for our community to praise our savior and prepare for Easter. (Editor’s note: Peace Lutheran was the host church for the annual interdenominational Holy Week services, noon luncheon events on the Monday through Friday leading up to Easter Sunday. Many local congregations provided sermons, scripture readings, prayers, music and food. The services were well attended with attendance ranging up to 110.)
