Dear editor,
It has been my privilege to have known Chief Harris for 20 years and have worked with him as District Attorney for the last 7-1/2 years.
In my 40 years as a state and federal prosecutor, I have worked with many fine law enforcement officers. None finer than Thomas Harris.
As I have said before, under his leadership, the Rockdale police department has been a “Cadillac” of small town departments.
He will be missed.
