CHAMBER CHAT
Rockdale will host Fourth of July Fireworks this year at Fair Park, with kids games from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Wristbands are $5.
Fireworks display at dusk is free to the public.
From 6 to 10 p.m. there will be all kinds of food vendors selling hot dogs, sausage wraps, fajitas, corn -in-a-cup, nachos and funnel cakes.
There will music by the Communities in Concert Band and fireworks at dusk.
Sponsors are the Rock-dale and Cameron Chambers of Commerce, Atmos Energy, Citizens National Bank, Classic Bank, Rock-dale Federal Credit Union and Knife River Concrete & Materials.
The annual fireworks displays alternate every year between Rockdale and Cameron.

FREEFOOD—Every first and third Thursday the Capital Food Bank Truck is at the KC Hall.
Volunteers are needed to help set up, unload and distribute food. It’s a great opportunity for school kids needing Community Service for school. For more information, contact the Chamber and 512-446-2030.
MARKET—Market on Main is every Saturday, downtown at Wolf Park. It’s free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday.
