So many volunteers made the sesquicentennial a lot of fun
There are a whole lot of volunteers who need to be thanked for planning and executing all of the sesquicentennial events of the past two weeks. Unfortunately, The Reporter does not have all the names of the individuals, but there are coordinators we would like to list. Each of these coordinators led up a team of individuals of their own choosing.
• Glenda Wiley, Gala Event Coordinator.
• Curah Beard, Chair, Outside Event Coordinator.
• Barbara Nelson, Co-Chair, Books and Movies of the Decades.
• Joann Bradford, Co-Chair, Books and Movies of the Decades.
• Rita Quinn, Chair, Marketing.
• Barbara Holly, Secretary.
• Dr. John Mike Weed, Chair, New Time Capsule.
• Russell Fischer, Chair, Entertainment.
• Geri Burnett, Co-Chair, Programs.
• Joan Ratliff, Co-Chair, Programs.
• Lynn Young, Co-Chair, Programs; Chair, Fundraising.
• Edward Biehle, Chair, Safety and Security.
• Shanna Johnson, Volunteer.
• Kara Clore, Fundraising Liaison.
• Kayleigh Williams, Volunteer Coordinator.
• Lucita Rodriguez, Chamber Executive Director All of these volunteers took charge of the many events that took place and were enjoyed by so many. So next time you see them, give them all a big thank you. —KWC
