KEEPING COOL—On Monday and Tuesday of this week the Rockdale Senior Center received some cool gifts. On the left, Realtor Kendall Campbell makes a nice donation to center director Carolyn Cooper. On the right TXU donated 12 box fans, Hill Country Community Action donated three air conditioners and Rockdale Christian Services donated eight oscillating fans to the Senior Center consumers so no one will be too hot this August. Representatives from the three organizations, city officials and volunteers pose with the donated items.
