POLICE REPORT
Calls to household and family situations dominated a busy week for Rockdale police, according to Lt. Stephen Goodrich.
Police made two felony arrests during the past seven days.
Cameron Lee Terry, 25, of Rockdale, was charged Saturday with assault family/household member/ impede breath circulation after what police said was a choking and assault incident.
He remains in the county jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
On Sunday police arrested 39-year-old Christopher Clayton Wallace, Rock-dale, and charged him with assault causes bodily injury with previous conviction.
He remains in the county Jail on $15,000 bond.
INCIDENTS—Police conducted investigations into reports of assault causing bodily injury/family violence, assault causing bodily injury/family violence with previous conviction, assault impeding breath/circulation-family violence and assault threatening bodily injury.
BREAK-IN—Police said a person who has been working out-of-county returned to a Belton Avenue residence to find a door jimmied and a number of items removed, including electronics, clothing and household items.
ACCIDENTS—According to police, a pickup was in collision with a car at Dollar General at 8:49 p.m. May 1 and then left the scene.
Police said the pickup was owned by Carolyn Box and driven by Kris Box of Rockdale.
Owner of the car was listed as David Snow of Bryan.
Minor damages were reported in a collision at 3:15 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Murray.
Police said a pickup operated by Dora Casas of Rock-dale was in collision with an unoccupied car.
CITATIONS—Police issued 33 speeding tickets during the week.
Other citations issued included three each for failure to report change of address/name and failure to maintain financial responsibility, two each for animal-at-large, driving while license invalid and expired registration and one each for failure to yield right-of-way, failure to stop for school bus and child safety seat violation.
SERVICE CALLS—
Officers made 166 calls for service during the week and there were 114 calls received through the 911 emergency system.
