Milano ISD Athletic Department has began a “Light it Up” fundraising campaign to get lights on its baseball field. The school has had a baseball program for over two decades, but never a lighted field. The softball field got lights just a few weeks ago. The first fundraising
The first fundraising event is set for June 18 with a chicken dinner and alumni fast-pitch. The dinner will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and the alumni game at 8 p.m. under the new softball lights.
Cost for the dinner plates are $12 each and a silent auction will also be held. The entry fee for the alumni game is $20 per player. Shirts for the event can be purchased for $15 each.
