CALDWELL—The first Sunflower/Melodie Hope Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run/ Walk is set for Saturday, at Caldwell’s Davidson Creek Park.
It’s in honor of the late Melodie Jones, 2015 Milano High School graduate, who died in a US 79 accident.
Registration is $30 for the 5K run and $25 for the kids run.
On-line registration is at www.melodiesmeow.com.Race day registration is 7:30 to 8:15 a.m.
Kids run starts at 8:30 and the Sunflower Fun Run at 9.
