—The Rockdale Junior High Symphonic Band recently traveled to Bastrop and participated in the Association of Texas Small School Bands Region 18/26 Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation, according to Marco Estrada, director. “The band performed very well and received Superior ratings from all judges in Concert and Sight Reading. We are very proud of all the students and the hard work they put in every day,” Estrada said.
