‘THANKS, JOHN’

—Precinct 1 Commissioner John Fisher of Rockdale was recognized by the Milam County Commissioners Court during their Monday morning for “his tireless work for the county.” Fisher is not seeking re-election after two terms. John Seaton of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Rockdale, who honored Fisher’s two decades of volunteer auctioneer service for the church’s annual “Lord’s Acre” event, which includes an auction.
