CAMERON—Twelve cases were disposed of recently in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey.
He listed case dispositions as follows:
• Henry Bernard Keith Johnson, 32, Temple, seven-year prison term, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (4-200 grams).
• Tyler McLarn Phillips, 23, Rockdale, 12-month state jail term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation on original charge of, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Joel Angel Becerra, 19, Bryan, 12-month state jail term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation on an original charge of theft ($2,500 to $30,000).
• Raustin Namyat, 23, Cameron, one-year deferred adjudication, successful completion of anger management classes, $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, assault causing bodily injury–family violence.
• Brenda Sue McGrath, 53, Springdale, Arkansas, two-year state jail term probated for three years 120-day county jail term, $1,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS drug lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Beau Jacob Cargill, 40, Davilla, four years deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Jerry Dee Herzog, 52, Thorndale, was placed on one-year deferred adjudication, anger management classes, no contact with the victim, fined $2,000 after pleading “no contest” to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, assault causing bodily injury.
• Christopher Keith Walker, 18, Buckholts, 10 years deferred adjudication probation with sex offender conditions of probation, fined $4,000, have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family after pleading guilty to a lesser included felony, injury to a child.
• Augustin Ramirez, 34, Cameron, 10-year prison term, probated for three years, advanced anger management classes, fined $2,500 after pleading guilty to a family violence–impede breathing with previous conviction.
• Michael Allen Grimes, 37, New Caney, three-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation on an original charge of possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).
• Larry Darnell White II, 43, Rockdale, three-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation on an original charge of assault causing bodily injury–impede breath— with previous conviction.
• Justin Jolee Walls, 38, Palestine, six-year jail term, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (4-200 grams).
