16 sentenced in district court

CAMERON—Sixteen persons were sentenced last week in 20th District Court. Also see page 1A.

• Ricky Dwayne Lewis, 34, Cameron, four-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for assault family violence, with previous conviction. He was also sentenced to a four-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for possession of controlled substance (less than one gram) drug free zone. He also drew a two-year state jail term and $220 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to theft ($2,500 to $30,000).

• Lewis Michael Mendoza, 51, Temple, two-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for unlawful possession of firearm by felon.

• Javonte Marquice Crawford, 20, Rockdale, was sentenced to two (2) two-year state jail terms, $1,323.24 restitution to victims after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for credit/debit card abuse.

• April Gailey, 40, Rockdale, 180-day state jail term, $6,000 restitution to victim after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for theft ($2,500 to $30,000).

• Nevin O’Shun Dunn, 22, Hearne, 12-month state jail term, $600 restitution to victim after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

• Steven Alan Gaylord, 66, of Cameron, sentenced after a pre-sentence investigation and sentencing hearing, to a two-year prison term probated for three years with Intermediate Sanction Facility as a condition of probation, $2,500 fine after previously pleading “open” to lesser included offense of injury to disabled person.

• Darron Wayne Knight 39, Cameron, 10-year probated prison term, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS after pleading guilty to a possession of controlled substance (4-200 grams).

• Becky Ann Canova, 57, League City, three years deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine, restitution to be determined after pleading guilty to a theft ($750 to $2500) by public servant.

• Henry Baxter Dailey, 18, Rockdale, three years deferred adjudication, $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to a Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

• George Henry Schneider, 61, Buckholts, five years deferred adjudication, sex offender probation, $2,500 fine, restitution in an amount to be determined after pleading guilty to indecency with child by contact.

• Marsha Diane Massey, 37, Temple, three years deferred adjudication, drug and alcohol evaluation, $1,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Mitchell Hollis Wright, 25, Cameron, three years deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to endangering a child.

• Rosalinda Rubio Lovato-Blinka, 53, Rockdale, 10-year prison term probated five years, anger management, $2,500 fine after pleading “no contest” to injury to the elderly.

• Holly Nicole Supak, 33, Caldwell, five years deferred adjudication, 30-day county jail term after pleading guilty to felony, endangering a child.

• Terry William Halpain, 47, Cameron, 180-day state jail term, $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to endangering a child.

• Jimmy Blackstone II, 31, Hearne, 18-month state jail after pleading “true” to motion to revoke probation for credit card abuse.
