A 16th Milam County resident has now tested positive for COVID-19, County Judge Steve Young said Wednesday'
It was the second positive case confirmed of the day.
Young said the 16th case is a "younger" Milam resident who tested April 24 at an out-of-county mobile site, but test results did not come back until Wednesday "due to the backlog of tests."
Young said the person has self-quarantined.
It's likely as testing increases more positive cases will be discovered. Results from countywide testing in Milano on Wednesday are expected within 48 hours.
