CA MERON—F u nera l services for Candelaria Rocha Herrera, 53, of Cameron were held Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Cameron with Rev. Juan Carlos Lopez officiating. Burial followed in Port Sullivan Cemetery near Branchville.

Rosary was recited on Tuesday, May 26, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Mrs. Herrera died Sunday, May 24, in a Temple hospital.

She was born Feb. 3, 1956, in Plainview to Pablo and Antonia (Lara) Rocha.

She married Frank Herrera Jr. and was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Herrera was a homemaker.

Survivors are her husband, Frank Herrera Jr. of Cameron; two sons, Frank A. Herrera of Cameron, Paul A. Herrera of Tulia; a daughter, Priscilla Herrera of Cameron; her mother, Antonia Rocha of Tulia; a brother, Andrew Rocha of Arlington; and three sisters, Andrea Salazar, Margie Rocha and Ester Aguilar, all of Tulia; also, nine grandchildren.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
