Rockdale's Kassie Roddam has been named the offensive player of the year in District 24-3A.

This is the junior shortstop's third appearance on the alldistrict team at three different positions.

The left-handed hitting Roddam batted .449 with 19 runs scored and was 32-of-32 in stolen bases in establishing a new school record.

Roddam was joined on the first team by junior outfielder Kelsey Fischer (.329, 1 HR) and junior designated player Hailey Offield (.205, 3 RBI).

The second team included senior pitcher Mindy Cortez (12- 10) and senior second baseman Julie Birkhead (.368, 8 RBI, 6 steals).

Senior Morgan Rios (.238) and junior Mac Tater (.311, 9 RBI) were chosen honorable mention.

Thorndale senior Angel Bigan was named the District 26A offensive MVP while the lady Dogs' Caitlyn Goetz and Milano's Chelsey Bohannon were named the loop's co-MVPs on defense as Thorndale and Milano each placed seven players on the team.

Thorndale was 19-9 on the year and was defeated in the regional quarterfinals by Mart. Milano finished 15-10 and was ousted in bi-district by Ganado.
