Lee County 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl teams recently traveled to Brookshire to participate in the 2009 4-H District Round-Up. Kids from all over District 9 gather to participate in a number a events ranging from theater arts and clothing design to livestock judging and consumer decision making. Full Story

Gause CIP names scholarship winners
Gause Community Improvement Program met for their June meeting Monday at the community center. The group discussed future renovations to be made at the center. Winners of the $200 Gause CIP college scholarships were Cody Cunningham and Kristian Lee. The next CIP meeting is set for 6 p.m. Monday, July 6 at the Gause Community Center. Full Story
