Zelisko earns top resident at hospital in Houston

Dr. Zelisko Dr. Zelisko HOUSTON—Dr. Michael Blaine Zelisko has been chosen Pediatric Anesthesia Resident of-the-Year for 2009 at Memorial Hermann Hospital

in Houston. The honor was pre- sented at an Anesthesia Awards banquet held at the Pet roleu m Building in dow ntow n Houston on June 20.

He will complete his residency in anesthesiology with Memorial Hermann Hospital on June 30.

Dr. Zelisko presented a journal review of an anesthesia publication to a group of fellow residents and staff doctors which will be featured in an upcoming issue of Anesthesia Gazette.

Dr. Zelisko has been selected for a one-year fellowship program beginning July 1 in Pediatric Anesthesia at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.

He is the son of Mike and Beckie Zelisko of Rockdale and grandson of Elois Alford of Rockd a le a nd Nad i ne Zelisko of Cameron.
