Odom gets A&M advising award
The award is presented to five academic advisors every year who exemplify the qualities and practices of exceptional academic advising. Nominations for this award come from current or former students, faculty, staff, and administrators. In recognition of the award, recipients were honored at a university awards breakfast and given a plaque along with a monetary award.
Odom has served as an academic advisor and lecturer at A&M in the Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications department for the past nine years and is currently working on her doctorate in Human Resource Development.
Attending the awards ceremony were her husband, Len Odom and her parents Barton and Marcia Felton, of Thorndale.
