Four draw sentences

CA MERON—Fou r persons drew sentences last week in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Dennis Preston Ruzicka Jr. 40, Cameron, pleaded guilty to a lesser included charge of injury to a child-reckless, 12-month state jail term.

• Reginald Eugene Wade, 52, Austin, pleaded guilty to burglary of a habitation, eight years deferred adjudication probation, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $1,200 restitution.

• DeMarcus Tindle, 21, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery. 15-year prison term. Tindle also had probation on an original charge of aggravated assault revoked and was assessed a concurrent five-year term.

• Richard Alan Shafer, 48, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), two-year state jail term probated three years, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $1,500 fine, $140 restitution.
